Peter Obi Lacks Democratic Credentials - Daniel Bwala

Daniel Bwala, former spokesman for the Atiku Abubakar/Ifeanyi Okowa presidential campaign, claimed on Channels Television's Morning Brief that most of Peter Obi’s supporters, known as Obidients, are members or apologists of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). 

He criticized Peter Obi, a former Labour Party presidential candidate, for lacking democratic credentials. 

Bwala said he attacks Obi and Obidients on social media in self-defense against alleged bullying by them. 

He accused Obidients of aggressively attacking those who disagree with them and stated that many of them are not residing in Nigeria, based on a poll conducted during the 2023 elections.

 Bwala admitted his claims about Obidients being IPOB members were based on opinion, not empirical data.
