The 2023 Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, took to Twitter on Thursday to affirm his commitment to the Labour Party.

“For the avoidance of doubt, I remain a committed, loyal Labour Party member,” Obi posted, addressing any uncertainties about his party affiliation.

This declaration is expected to quell rumors and solidify Obi’s position as a steadfast member of the Labour Party. 

His statement comes amid speculation about a potential merger with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the upcoming general election.
