JUST IN: Nigerian Judges Announces Vacation

The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Justice John Tsoho, has announced the 2024 Annual Vacation and Roster for Vacation Judges of the trial courts.

 The vacation will begin on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, and end on Friday, September 13, 2024, with court sessions resuming on Monday, September 16, 2024. 

This schedule is in accordance with Order 46, Rule 4 (d) of the Federal High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2019.

Justice Tsoho disclosed that the vacation allows judges to rest and prepare for the new legal year. 

During the vacation, urgent cases can be addressed at designated courts in Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt.

 Justices Emeka Nwite and Peter O. Lifu will handle urgent cases in Abuja, Justices Akintayo Aluko and Isaac Dipeol in Lagos, and Justices A. T. Mohammed and P. M. Ayua in Port Harcourt.
