JUST IN: EFCC Arrests 100 Internet Fraudsters

Operatives of the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 100 suspected internet fraudsters at various locations in Enugu State. 

The Head of Media & Publicity, Dele Oyewale, stated that the arrests occurred during early morning operations on Wednesday, May 5, 2024, following actionable intelligence about the activities of an organized syndicate operating along Ibagwa-Nike and other areas in the Enugu metropolis.

Items recovered from the suspects include three exotic cars, mobile phones, and laptops. 

Oyewale added that the suspects would be arraigned in court after thorough investigations.
