The Federal Government of Nigeria has begun distributing a N50 billion grant to support small businesses across the country. According to a further report, the Director General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN), Mr. Charles Odii, announced this in Asaba, Delta State.
He also mentioned that the grants are for one million people who registered online and clarified that the selection is not based on political party affiliation.
Adding to this, he criticized the unfair distribution of grants in Delta State and called on the state government to partner with SMEDAN to help small businesses grow.
