JUST IN: Top Official Of Popular Nigerian University Confirmed Dead

Bandits have killed Prof. Yusuf Saidu, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research, Innovation, and Development at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.

 The attack occurred while he was traveling from Sokoto to Kaduna.The university confirmed the incident in a statement on Monday, expressing deep sorrow over the loss.

 The statement described Saidu as a man of integrity, dedication, and courage.“May Allah accept his soul and forgive his sins.

 This is a painful loss to all members of the University community and the academia at large,” the statement read.

Sokoto, like many North-Western states, has been severely affected by banditry.
